Robot Labeler
This is a robot labeller that accommodates a wide range of products and improves production efficiency.
Features
The "Robot Labeller" enables automatic labelling on various surfaces of products that were difficult to handle with conventional labellers. It accurately applies labels to specified areas on multiple sides using high-performance cameras and multi-axis robots.
By automating individual identification, label printing, and pass/fail judgment, it contributes to improving production efficiency.
Automation of label application and inspection allows for labor savings.
Combining label printing software with various inspection devices enables further labor and energy savings.
Matching with printing data helps prevent misdelivery.
It becomes easy to add additional label placement positions due to variety expansion.
Multi-Surface Labelling with Robot Arm
Using a multi-axis robot arm, it is possible to apply labels to various surfaces (except for the bottom surface of the product) without rotating the products flowing from the conveyor.
Accurate Recognition of Work with 5 Cameras
The product's assigned code information is accurately read by five cameras, and labels for various product varieties associated with the information are generated.
Automatic Discharge of Defective Products
In-line inspection immediately after the label is affixed, it is possible to find missing characters, defective pasting positions, and defective printing and discharge them automatically, which leads to stabilization of quality without stopping the line.
Monitoring with Various Sensors
Visualization of information read by various sensors, such as product size, label printing content, and processing quantity, provides monitoring functions with an IoT aware.
Applications
Issuing and automatically pasting SCM labels
In the shipping scene from the manufacturer's factory (production site), the layout for printing linked to product information from the host and coordinate data is automatically extracted, and SCM labels are issued. The Robot Arm automatically applies SCM labels to the taught surfaces and locations of packages, cardboard boxes, containers, and more.
It is possible to accommodate different printing layouts for each retail store on the same line.
With a reader installed at the tip of the robot arm, inspection after label application can be performed within the same operation.
