Environmental Policy

We establish the following environmental principles and action guidelines as our environmental policy to ensure the continuous preservation and improvement of the environment for future generations, aiming to leave a clean planet Earth. We disclose this policy to both internal and external stakeholders.

We recognize that preserving a healthy global environment and coexisting with it is one of our critical management challenges, based on our development and manufacturing technologies in labels, magnetic and IC card media, industrial materials-related products, information equipment, and others. We strive to conserve a sound global environment through all our business activities and promote environmental impact reduction and conservation efforts together as a whole.

1. We will establish an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and promote environmental management.
2. We will accurately understand the environmental impacts caused by our business activities, continuously set environmental objectives and targets for improvement, and carry out their implementation, execution, and review. We strive for pollution prevention and reduction of environmental burdens.
3. We will comply with relevant environmental regulations and other agreed-upon requirements and conduct business activities with environmental considerations.
4. We will promote pollution prevention (air and water quality), noise prevention, resource conservation and recycling, energy conservation, measures against global warming, and appropriate management and reduction of waste.
5. We will incorporate environmentally friendly design considerations, focusing on reducing environmental burdens, from the product development stage. We will manage based on the Toppan Group Sustainable Procurement Guidelines and Chemical Substance Management Standards.
6. We will disseminate and educate our entire organization about the environmental policy through electronic information, posters, and other means, and engage everyone in improvement activities.
7. We will make this environmental policy publicly available through our website and other channels.
